Gerry’s career includes holding senior positions at Best Foods / CPC International, Shoppers Drug Mart, Agora Food Merchants / Oshawa Foods, IBM and Mosaic Group. Through his various roles in these organizations, Gerry has worked with many Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, HP, American Express, BMG Music, Warner Home Video, Workplace Safety & Insurance Board, Information Resources Inc, Pepsi, Bristol Myers Squibb, AC Nielsen, Proctor & Gamble, Cadbury and many more.

 
Accomplishments:

Senior Consultant for IBM specializing in Application Development Effectiveness and Creating / Leading Sense and Respond Organizations. World-class training from IBM’s International Education Centre in Brussels and Executive Training Centre in New York.
Key member of a senior executive team dispatched by Mosaic Group to establish a new $60M Joint Venture with IRI of Chicago. Replacing the technology infrastructure supporting over 1,800 data collection devices, the supporting telecommunications and back office servers used for capturing and processing over 15 million facts weekly.
Designed and architected many transaction-based Internet applications for collecting, managing and analyzing business data from many diverse sources. Combined different retailers data with internal corporate data for sales performance and distribution analysis.
Led the re-engineering of Merchandising and Category Management business processes and technologies for Agora Food Merchants / Oshawa Foods.
Directed and implemented sales automation of many sales forces in North America, numbering over 3,000 remote sales reps.
Worked with Microsoft and the Sales & Merchandising Group to implement the first sales force automation solution using the Windows CE operating system.
Architected and implemented inventory management processes and applications to manage an inventory of over 80,000 items between 21 warehouses, serving 8,000 customers at Forsco / Barrie Supply.
Conducted the technology due diligence for several business acquisitions in North America, United Kingdom and Europe.
